Education and access is a foundational pillar of Sankofa Farming Cooperative. We actively encourage our members to seek out all opportunities for learning and strive to create spaces where they can deepen their understanding of farming practices for the benefit of our community.

During the winter season, we host an online bi-weekly book club from January through May. This initiative culminates in a vibrant spring community dinner, celebrating the awakening of the land. Participants receive access to PDFs of the selected book, which aligns with our focus on sustainable agriculture. The club gathers bi-weekly to discuss the scheduled chapters, fostering a collaborative learning environment among members. This program not only enhances knowledge but also builds connections within our community, enriching our shared commitment to sustainable farming practices.
